Alex Hantman's Linkedin Analytics

Alex is an equity research associate based in NYC, where he focuses on healthcare and technology companies. He began his career in healthcare and technology as an analyst at the startup company Spreemo Health (acquired), where he worked on sales, operations, and finance initiatives. Prior to working as an equity research associate, Alex served as a consultant and advisor to early and growth-stage startup companies, helping them raise more than $50M in capital, structure multiple M&A processes, prepare strategic materials for board and management meetings, build teams (60+ hires), and create scalable and efficient processes across finance, operations, HR, legal, and IT functions. Previously, he was the Director of Business Operations at Parsley Health where he served on the management team. During his focus on startup companies, Alex also sourced multiple investments, including one eventual unicorn, and served as a mentor and advisor to dozens of startups through Techstars, Mount Sinai, and WeWork, making introductions to investors, hires, and customers. He also managed three teams. Alex earned his BS with honors in Bioengineering from SUNY Binghamton University. While in school, he conducted research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and was a recipient of the SUNY Association of Council Members and Trustees scholarship. He was born and raised in Westchester, NY and has traveled to 14 countries across 4 continents. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports such as tennis and skiing, trying new recipes and cuisines, and practicing meditation and martial arts.
