Mercator Advisory Group

As the Director of the Credit Advisory Service, I lead research and custom consulting projects related to consumer and small business credit cards, alternative banking and marketplace lending platforms, and other pay later offerings. My clients include retailers, credit card issuers, acquirers, processors, government regulators, and financial technology providers. 

My responsibilities include producing 20 research documents each year, including an annual overview of the size of the U.S. credit card market and a forecast on its growth. I also lead consulting projects for Mercator such as market feasibility studies, primary survey work on emerging banking trends, creating RFPs and RFIs for organizations, and analyzing the potential for acquisitions, partnerships or competition among leading payment technology providers. Beyond traditional project work, I also work with clients to produce white papers and webinars on topics of their choice.

As with any research organization, Mercator analysts are consistently called in to support the sales team by demonstrating the value of their research and highlighting their expertise. In my role, I have been tasked with seeking out, connecting, and meeting with prospects in collaboration with Mercator’s sales team.
