1 of 2 things is certain 👇 1) I'm going to build a unicorn 🦄 (AKA a Billion Dollar Startup) 2) Or fail trying But I don't want to be a billionaire for the mansions, Lamborghinis or superyachts ⛵ Cheesy 🧀 as it may sound, I just want to solve the world's biggest problems, and it seems easier to do this with a billion dollars than without 🤷‍♂️ Anyways, here are the 7 ventures I've started by 24 years old: At 15, I went door-to-door asking my neighbours if I could mow their lawns. 🌱 Although I was probably the world's worst salesperson at the time, surprisingly 7 people said yes, for some reason. At 18, I ran my own window cleaning business, where I managed a marketing & window cleaning team for two summers. Fun fact: a lady once made me clean her window sills with a toothbrush. 🪥 Good times. At 20, I launched LocalStudent. 👨‍🎓 It's like Uber, but for outdoor home services (like lawn mowing). We've been featured on national TV, CBC and The Toronto Star. We've scaled across 30+ cities and students have completed 10,000+ home services and earned half a million dollars on our platform. A couple failed projects in the meantime... NowX. It's kind of like Google, but real people answer your question over an instant live video call. 🤳 This project is on pause... it was kind of hard to beat Google :( TapTalk. www.taptalk.live The world's easiest convo platform. No one has time to read company's career pages, or long text posts. That's why Jobby creates short-form videos for companies like L'Oréal and Scotiabank to tell their story.
