Match Rider

I founded Match Rider in 2010 with the belief that the current model of personal mobility was going to radically change.  But resistance was strong and our emotional and logistical ties to our car have changed very little since then.  People continue to buy cars with the hope that their lives will improve; they won't.  The tiny incremental improvements in the nature of your vehicle have done nothing for your overall happiness and will not alter the time space continuum in the slightest. The only way to fix this is to alter our physical world, collapsing the boundaries that were artificially created by the automobile.  

In 2023 Match Rider completed its community-based mobilityDIY platform, ridesharing app, public transportation scheduling tool (fahrplantool.de), and On Demand platform, and are actively marketing our solutions to communities in Germany and beyond.

Founder

Match Rider is a web and app based platform designed to help people share rides.  Our unique "Match Point"​ network of fixed locations enables our system to determine, for any given driver route, the best pick-up and drop-off locations.  Our "driver-oriented"​ system is perfect for short to mid-distance routes and has been carefully developed with the help of consultants in the "business mobility"​ and "combined mobility" sectors.  Our network of Match Points is well suited to integrate with existing mobility structures like train and bus stops.  

In June of 2015 we completed the Axel Springer Plug and Play program in Berlin and are now planning our market entrance.
