On the flight from Oslo to Lisbon, I met Matt C Smith  , a fellow South African 🇿🇦 who will become the first South African to compete in WINTER OLYMPICS for Cross Country Skiing — in Milan FEB26 an absolutely inspiring journey. Incredible to see South Africans showing up everywhere on the world stage right now! 🇿🇦🔥 #SNOWBOK follow him ..

Another standout moment was reconnecting with Vitalijus Majorovas from Pulsetto , who shared their bold vision of reaching $100M revenue in 2026 — huge momentum ahead. 🚀

And what a talk by Maria Sharapova , diving deep into the future of AI in sports performance. Her insights on athlete longevity, data intelligence, and mindset optimisation were next-level. 🎾🤖 

Also mind-blowing: Revolut exhibited at Web Summit just 10 years ago as a startup — and now sits at a staggering $75 billion valuation (as of Sept/Oct 2025). Proof that great product, relentless execution, and timing can change everything. 💡🌍 Nik Storonsky
