Assisted carrying out research in Dr Adrian Raine’s lab exploring how electrical stimulation of the prefrontal cortex (using tCDS) would influence performance on cognitive tests measuring correlates of antisocial behavior (risk inhibition and low cognitive flexibility). Heart rate and skin conductance, psychophysiological correlates of antisocial behavior, were also measured.

The goal of the research was to investigate the relationship between cognitive abilities measured by the BART and IOWA gambling tasks, and features of the autonomic nervous system correlated with antisocial behaviour. 

Responsibilities: 
Briefing subjects and getting informed consent.
Administration of the brain stimulation (or sham stimulation). 
Presenting the cognitive tests to the subjects. 
Ensuring all technology was functioning and recording correctly. 
Recording heart rate and skin conductance.
Debriefing and paying subjects.
