My family always told me to turn my passion into a career, so I did! Ever since I could remember, I have loved playing sports and staying active. Physical activity, especially outdoors, allows me to focus on the present and enjoy the company of those around me. I've always loved sharing my passion for sports with other people so now I do it full-time. As a recreation coordinator, I am able to manage and improve other people's recreational pursuits and I love setting them up for success. I take care of everything behind the scenes to ensure they always have access to barrier-free facilities and programming. I love creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels heard and included. My biggest strength is my ability to connect with people! I love meeting new people and learning their stories and, in turn, finding ways to improve processes and programming based on their lived experiences. Beyond my professional achievements, I enjoy pursuing philanthropic efforts in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics Canada that allow me to give back to the community I love. In my free time, you might find me: playing volleyball, bingeing the latest Netflix series, volunteering with a non-profit, or enjoying a cottage weekend! Let's connect :)
