Principal Software Engineer at Azure

Responsibilities included design and development of highly available, brand new micro-services on Azure's PAAS (Service Fabric) platform, which are deployed across multiple Clouds in the world. Successfully built and deployed the new architecture based micro-services that increased the availability of the system to over 9999 SLA required by the business - great win for the customers. Also improved performance of the system by reducing API latency by over 90% - again, great win for the customers. By product of me tech-leading the engineering team was developing technically fearless, data driven, problem oriented, agile engineering culture for the team.

Worked in Digital Store Platform to launch Amazon's Fire Phone. Also responsible for the architecture of Kindle Store technology running both on device and in the Cloud.

Senior Software Development Engineer

Worked as a Senior Software Engineer in Website Application Platform at Amazon. Built multiple services that ensures scalability and availability of distributed systems. Authored requirement and design documents for these services. Submitted over two dozen patent applications during this time.

A decent chunk of my time was spent coaching, mentoring and advising multiple engineering teams on their Service Design and Implementation.
