Long-term global strategic direction and tactical implementation for all owned digital platforms. Drove innovation and pioneered the use of new methodologies and technologies to promote brand affinity, engagement, conversion and retention, and maximise customer lifetime value.

I was responsible for heading up a team defining experiences and user journeys and content across Email (CRM), Burberry.com (including SEO) and In-store Video. Led the strategy and delivery of all digital experiences for Burberry.com and was responsible for reviewing UI/UX and design content. 

Worked closely with data scientists to ensure accurate measurement and attribution. Established techniques for leveraging big data platforms to drive actionable insights and audience segmentation.

Responsible for strategic and tactical planning to guarantee consistent, on-brand creative execution of digital activities across all Burberry’s owned media platforms. Ensured consistent growth across all platforms and outperformed target KPI’s while reducing operational costs. 

Represented the digital team on a number of C-Level led executive steering committees and led working groups to implement solutions and execute the digital strategy.

Responsible for directing all aspects of the design, strategy, growth, and expansion of the digital business unit including creative direction, UX, backend development and editorial. Promoted and facilitated a shift in business focus from print magazine to digital editorial content.

Determined market potential and developed revenue generation strategy for new online properties and other digital partnerships and efforts. Scaled the operation by gradually recruiting a team of designers, editors, developers and marketing staff when the expansion was needed.

Maintained an agile development environment conducive to early technology adoption while promoting new design patterns and best practices.
