Orbital Insight

Orbital Insight is a Silicon Valley AI startup backed by Google Ventures and Sequoia Capital. We leveraged the rapidly growing availability of satellite imagery and applied machine learning algorithms and expertise to help our customers, from hedge funds to humanitarian organizations, understand how the earth changes over time.

As the Senior Solutions Engineer, I led the EMEA solutions team in helping our customers to discover, implement and unlock value with AI and Computer Vision solutions. I have expertise in data science, engineering and sales as well as satellite data industry knowledge based on experience working closely with Fortune 500 Finance, Energy, Mining and CPG customers. 

Projects have ranged from reducing the distance mint farmers in India have to travel to drop off their harvest, to finding optimal locations to build flying car heliports in San Francisco.

I’m proud to have architected, prototyped and delivered the largest commercial project in company history. 7+ figures across multiple years.

Online Oceans is a UK-based maritime technology company focused on delivering low-cost, long-endurance ocean robotics solutions. 

Founded in 2023, the company’s mission is to enable persistent, affordable, and scalable access to the world’s oceans through the use of autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs) and intelligent sensor systems. 

Our flagship platform, the Solar Scout, is a compact, solar-electric ocean robot designed for long-duration deployments of up to six months. Powered by renewable energy.
