Ali Rauch is the President & CEO of the Opelika Chamber of Commerce. While she is celebrating just over 3 years in this role, she is not new to serving the Opelika Chamber. She has served many years on the Opelika’s 20 under 40 Leadership Program Board of Directors, as well as the Women’s Business Council & Total Resource Campaign. In that time, she has led her team to a best-of-the-best 5 Star Accreditation through the US Chamber of Commerce, raised $3 million for the Chamber’s Forward Opelika strategic community and economic development initiative, with the support of her team, led a record-breaking REACH sponsorship campaign in 2022 & 2023, and spearheaded a comprehensive brand refresh. Additionally, she was selected to the US Chamber’s Business Leads Fellowship Program, ACCE’s 40 under 40, ACCE’s Fellowship for Economic Mobility, Alabama Leadership Initiative IV, and is in the midst of her Institute for Organization Management certification, all while changing the landscape and scope of services the Opelika Chamber offers to this community. Prior to her role at the Chamber, she has worked in a wide array of industries, including software, manufacturing, higher education, and most notably, franchising & food service, where she served 8 years as the Director of Marketing for Chicken Salad Chick, where she had a hand in helping the brand grow from 3 stores to 160. She brings a unique perspective to her leadership role at the Chamber and is ready to serve our business community to the fullest. Ali is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication. She also holds an Associate of Science degree in Communication from Lake Land College, in Mattoon, Illinois. She followed love to Opelika, when her future husband, Todd, chose to attend Auburn University following his military career, and they’ve called Opelika home ever since. In her own words... "I love to laugh and enjoy the company of my friends and family, always striving for work life harmony and my desire is to work in a positive environment, surrounded by people who also love what they do and are willing to put in 110% for the betterment of our team. I’m a former drag racer, a lover of sports, most notably the Auburn University Tigers, and am proud to be a shareholder of my beloved Green Bay Packers. Go Pack Go!"
