I guide businesses to set clear objectives, grow profitably and raise funding where appropriate; whilst aiding SMTs to realise their ambitions and achieve significant valuations. Experienced in business leadership and private equity, I have built and backed many successful ventures over the past 30+ years. I am an investor in multiple companies and have in recent years concentrated my private equity interests in the Bristol region through BPEC, which I chair. Founded in 2016, Bristol Private Equity Club (BPEC) is a group of investors and entrepreneurs with wide ranging business and professional skills. We invest in, back and support the next generation of Bristol-based, ambitious, driven entrepreneurs to profitably scale their businesses, create value, capitalise on their successes and achieve their ambitions. We have backed 38 businesses and around 100 funding rounds with many millions invested by BPEC. We are sector agnostic equity investors in interesting, forward looking, disruptive EIS or SEIS qualifying companies. They benefit from our capital, often through a number of rounds over several years, allowing them to grow substantially. They are free to draw on our collective skills, business experience, informed insights, innovative ideas and introductions to worthwhile opportunities. We aim to assist them to capitalise on their successes and maximise value. My personal objective in the widest sense, is to enjoy life to the fullest extent and to share as many positive, enjoyable, fun experiences as possible with my family, friends and colleagues.
