▶️ Who I Am I am a lifelong learner; I bring this passion to learn to everything that I do. Currently, I am an experienced and certified change manager; additionally, I am an experienced instructional design lead with a background rooted in public education. The combination of instructional design and change management experience directly relates to project management so I believe these roles are by nature inter-related. My background in instructional design and communications led to my discovery of change management. I really enjoy working with, learning from, and supporting people. Many people have strategy and planning skills; I have these too. However, I am also passionate about communicating with others and continuing to improve my listening and communicating skills. ▶️ How I Do What I Do Here are the main software tools that I've mastered. MS365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Visio, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Project Stracl – Change Management task automation and reporting Zoom and Microsoft Teams – Video Conferencing Asana and Jira – Project Management software Articulate and Captivate – Instructional Design software Snagit and Camtasia – Screen Capture and Video Recording Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom – Image Management ▶️ Why I Do What I Do I like to understand how things work and how they got that way. I believe other people have similar goals, although they might not ask as many questions as I do! So, communicating successfully is something that is an ongoing goal for me, and it relates directly to my Change Management work. ▶️ My Superpowers I speak multiple "languages" applicable to any client: Finance English, Logistics English, IT English, Manufacturing English, Procurement English, etc. The bottom line is that I am a generalist who understands what is being said, and I can ask intelligent follow-up questions to efficiently gather and summarize information so that meeting time is minimized and productivity is maximized. And I am a specialist in change management, so I believe this combination of general knowledge across all areas of business and special emphasis on change management knowledge and application are a solid basis for anyone who works as a change manager.
