Abused and mistrustful, he panicked at the sight of a halter, flailing to protect himself from the pain he expected. I didn’t train or coax. I simply stood beside him, grounded, silent, and fully present. Over time, his breath slowed, eyes softened, and his head lowered. Without resistance or pressure, I slipped the halter on – he stood calm and peaceful. That moment taught me more about business and investing than any MBA program ever could.
