Finance Leader responsible for driving the financial performance of 150+ internal affiliates with annual volumes of $12B.  Managing a direct team of 6 and an extended team of 110.  Key focus is to provide strategic leadership and tactical guidance on due to and due from accounting, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements, and partnering with cross-functional finance teams including tax, treasury, supply chain and commercial.  Additional responsibilities include owning the $80M budget for Global Controllership base costs reporting actual and budget guidance as well as managing the Account Reconciliation process for all of GE Healthcare.

GLOBAL OPERATIONAL CONTROLLERSHIP & INTERCOMPANY CENTER OF EXCELLENCE LEADER      

Finance Leader responsible for the reporting of all account reconciliations globally for GE Healthcare, entailing reporting on actuals, including explaining and providing actions plans for any aged > 1 year unreconciled to the GE Board Audit Committee, and creating efficiencies through standard templates and account rationalization.  In addition, led global reporting of intercompany flows, Legal Entity rationalization, redefining the ERP strategy from 50+ to 4 strategic ERPs and implementing the online travel and living expense tool, Concur, in our largest platform, the US, as well as the rollout of Concur Pcard.  Managed a team of 2 direct reports and an extended team of 3.

Program manager for FMPs including onboarding and program leader including rotation evaluations, people development and leadership growth.

Financial Management Program Leader - EMEA

Spearheaded transactional financial process synergies across all GE Healthcare in accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany flows, cash applications and fixed assets across EMEA. Managed an extended team of 40 people.

EMEA TRANSACTIONAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER

As part of the Life Sciences newly acquired business, ensured key accounting streams such as accounts payable, intercompany flows and travel expense reporting was fully integrated.  Key achievements include streamlining the accounts payable process by implementing a scanning invoice solution (Basware) that realized annual savings of $650K, reduced staffing needs as well as reducing cycle time from 45 days to 13 days.  Implemented Concur across EMEA and the GE Intercompany Billing System (IBS) for over 50 legal entities to align with the standard GE intercompany elimination process.

LEAN Simplification & Integration Leader - Life Sciences

Implemented a digitized Order Backlog & Sales Margin reporting that improved budgeting and forecasting for the global sales business, a business unit of $7B; utilized LEAN to decrease base cost reporting from 24 to one report.

Six Sigma Black Belt

Reported directly to the European General Manager of the Functional Imaging Business & led all budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.  Eliminated unnecessary costs of $600k, including supplier over billings and inaccurate cost bookings & supported delivery of double-digit growth on sales and margin.

Responsible for assessing & communicating the importance of corporate governance & compliance by delivering sustainable tools on statutory and tax filings, account reconciliations & Bill and Hold sales.

EMEA Compliance/Internal Audit Leader

Member of GE's finance leadership training program designed to develop future finance managers within GE.  Implemented Income Statement Visibility for a newly-acquired business and project-managed the launch of the “euro” from a financial systems perspective.
