The Office of Leadership & Organizational Development serves as a strategic partner within the University of Arizona community to help colleges, schools, departments, and units achieve greater levels of effectiveness and productivity, assist leaders with managing the complex change that is inherent in a dynamic workplace, and help all of UA to build the capacity to create the workplace we want.

Instructional Designer

•	Facilitate 250 presentations and workshops annually across Arizona regarding gender equity    in professional development at conferences, professional development sessions, and in K-12 schools
•	Instructional Design - create, develop, research all curriculum topics including: gender based job market trends, successful PD methods for students and educators, cyberbullying and digital citizenship
•	Relate all curriculum to industry desired skills – Arizona’s Workplace Employability Skills – a statewide standard, while adhering to state contractual guidelines for deliverables
•	Utilize Level 1 + 2 evaluations to assess knowledge acquisition, run focus groups or any necessary new data collection 
•	Research and data collection for cross-site analysis of federal SAMHSA grantees (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) 
•	Provide individualized coaching and additional targeted resources to educators and students
•	Supervise Girls Who Code program under Women In Science and Engineering, including assisting parents and 7th-12th grade students with Authorized Adult safety guidelines and overseeing 8 undergraduate computer science volunteers
•	Supervise STEM Pipeline Mentorship Program series, connecting high school and college women with successful STEM professionals in monthly dinner series
•	Act as Subject Matter Expert regarding safe social media use for Southern Arizona Anti-Trafficking Unified Response Network and assist with newsletter communications
•	Conduct outreach to K-12 educators statewide for National Alliance on Mental Illness grant regarding distribution of Ending the Silence curriculum to end mental health stigma

        Studies Partnership
•	Reviewed billing invoices totaling $2M per year in tuition and materials
•	Supported 220 employee participants, coordinated daily with Johns Hopkins University
        administration, finance department, and faculty
•	Initiated complete overhaul of new student orientation materials, contributed to contractual
         updates and legal obligations of employee retention upon graduation
•	Oversaw purchasing/procurement of $750K annually in instructional design, software, and
         learning materials, including safety of security-sensitive items
•	Verified all steps of supply chain policy were followed by vendors, including market research,
         cost comparison, vendor viability, and company legal and ethical mandate compliance

With a dual career path that intertwines personal styling with research and DEI practices, my journey reflects a deep commitment to empowering individuals and transforming environments. At the heart of my work lies a passion for fostering confidence and safety, whether through personal wardrobe consultations or by implementing innovative violence prevention programs. 

 My intermediate conversational fluency in Spanish and proficiency in public presentations and communication have been essential skills throughout my career. I have experience supervising in-person and remote teams and I am a total Asana nerd.
