In this role, I lead our squad to ultimately ’elevate the game’. From partnerships, industry scholarships, through to equitable products & hosting esports tournaments, Spark Game Arena has been built to evolve gaming in NZ. 
So far a few accomplishments have been:
- Reworked strategy and led the squad to launch Spark Game Arena in 3 months. 
- Ran two esports tournament alongside Letsplay.live, 2nd Fortnite tournament completed in Nov 2023 with thousands of participants & a $30k prize pool.
- Supporting the team to drive sponsorships (eg: NZGDA, Armageddon and Digital Natives Academy)

Pulling together Skinny’s 3 year business strategy.
Served as Jury member for The Drum APAC Marketing Awards & Executive Judge at NZ Beacons.
Awarded for 2023; 3x gold Aotearoa Gold Effies, 2x Grand Prix at Spikes Asia, 2x yellow D&AD pencils, 2x gold Global Festival of Media & 10 Cannes Lions 2023, incl a grand prix (Skinny Phone It In campaign)
The One Show CMO Pencil 2023 Winner (first NZer to be awarded).

Skinny Strategic Lead (Agile)

Managing a team of 40+ consisting of Brand & Partnerships, Creative Production, Content, Insights and Social chapters across Spark & Skinny telco brands.
Led out tribe restructure and development of Spark & Skinny brand strategy alongside key agency partners.
Key achievements:
Awarded Grand Prix WARC Global Effectiveness award for Sustained Growth (Skinny) at Cannes Lions 2022 plus a Global Grand Effie & NZ Grand Effie in 2022.
Led out the execution of Spark’s largest ever workshopping event ‘ALL IN’ in person and streaming around the country to all employees, to drive the awareness & connection to Digital Equity.
Awarded NZ Effective Marketer of the Year 2022.

Domain Chapter Lead (Head of) - Brand Marketing (Agile)

Led a team of brand marketing direct reports across Spark consumer, Spark business, Spark Foundation, Skinny, music sponsorships & instore brand experience.
Developed, led & executed the Skinny 3 year brand strategy (same as below position).
Key stakeholder for paid media across Spark’s portfolios 2018-2021 (same as below position).

Listed as 2= NZ Most Effective Marketer 2021 by the Comms Council NZ
Awarded for Skinny ‘Friendvertising’ campaign work at 2020 WARC media awards, TVNZ Marketing Awards, APAC Effies & 2021 Cannes Lion, APAC & NZ Effies, Spikes Asia, Axis, Caples & Clio creativity awards, Beacon media, Pressies PR awards.
Rebranded and launched Skinny Jump (subsidised broadband) at speed during Covid-19 to benefit low-income households.
Increased Skinny brand consideration by 5% in FY20

Chapter Lead - Brand Marketing (Agile)

Centralised media & buying stakeholder across Spark. Multi-brand guardian of media strategy & execution, working closely with Agile Tribes internally, media & insights agencies & media owners externally. Agile trained.
Developed brand strategy & execution for the Skinny brand.
Key achievements: International keynote speaker at Spikes Asia 2019 (Singapore).
Awarded for Skinny campaign work at Caples, D&AD, Festival of Media, Spikes Festival of Creativity, Beacons, TVNZ Marketing Awards, Adfest, Adstars, New York Festival, Axis & NZ Effies in 2019.

Led award-winning campaign team at Tangrams (Asia Pacific Effectiveness Awards) Beacons, Effies & PREScom in 2018.

Brand & Comms Prepaid Lead - Spark Prepaid, Skinny & Bigpipe brands

Multi-brand management, relationship management, TTL campaign management. People, budget & agency management. 
Project management, public relations, digital marketing (including SEM & SEO), customer experience, social media, internal communications, customer communications, website design, strategy development.
Key achievement: working quickly in a small team to plan, develop & build Skinny Direct, a full service telco brand, website & separate customer base in 10 weeks.
