I have managed various clients' social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages for small businesses in and outside of Bath to gain experience in content creation.

Additionally I have done freelance product photography for businesses based in Bath - working with clients and ensuring they are happy with the service.

While in my third year at Bath Spa University I assisted a small business in Bath with their marketing activities. I assisted in writing marketing plans, coming up with new ideas for social and website content, and helped the manager in building contacts with other university students.

I created content for the social media platforms, using my photography and content creation skills, assisted in gathering contacts for the newsletter, helped design the newsletter and produced regular reports on the social and newsletter performances using data visualisation tools.

Best Practice Network

Between my second and third year at Bath Spa I worked at Best Practice Network in the marketing team. I assisted the team will many day to day activities such as updating pages on the website, building the monthly newsletter and rebranding internal and external documents. 

In the latter part of my time here I assisted the E-Learning department with transcribing many hours worth of material. This meant I spent lots of time making sure every video is perfectly transcribed with zero spelling or grammatical errors.

Stokes Sauces

During the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic I worked at Stokes Sauces as a factory worker where I assisted the production line team in packing, wrapping and moving freshly made sauces. 

I learnt many valuable skills while working here such as effective communications with various individuals in my team, timeliness and how to effectively meet deadlines in a production line.

Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club Limited

For two years I worked part time as a bartender at Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club where my duties included general bar work but also opening and closing the restaurant and doing regular stock checks and cash ups.

In my time here I learned valuable skills such as communication, time management and organisational skills through making sure the bar and restaurant was always perfectly laid out and organised.

Ipswich Dog Daycare Creche

During my time at Suffolk New College I interned at Ipswich Dog Day-care Creche with online and offline marketing activities. I helped the manager with maintaining the website, distributing leaflets and contacting local businesses to spread word of the company.

It was here where I developed lots of confidence in meeting with other local business owners and reaching out to local communities in order to spread word of mouth.
