From startups needing someone to integrate with a mobile payment provider in ruby,to an agency requiring some dynamic Javascript elements adding to their website & an update to a national transport website utilising a SOAP web service built using ruby & sinatra. My permanent roles included RoR developer at On The Beach, and Groovy developer for CTI Digital, which involved bespoke development of a reporting suite for a rapidly growing insurance company using Grails, with Geb & Spock from integration testing. Previously I have been key in developing Liquid Bronze's solution for: a Workflow and Document Management system called Work Hub and a Scheduling & Rostering System called Malinko. These were developed in Ruby On Rails in an agile manner with TDD. Additionally, a Consultant for Teleca, working across many large corporations in South East UK producing bespoke solutions and lead small teams. I currently interested in exploring how agile techniques can be used in practice & when to be pragmatic. It's important that there is a Product Management process that validates features according to customer demand & need.
