Being a dad to a one-year-old has been the most grounding thing in life.

Before fatherhood, I was focused on moving 100 mph. Now, I’m learning to slow down. 

Some days are messy, tiring, and unpredictable… but the moments are always cherished.

No win compares to hearing him laugh or seeing him take those tiny steps. 

Those moments remind me of why I’m building and showing him the foundations of life in the first place!

Now if there was only a way to get this man from getting into every cabinet, drawer, container, pot, etc. that’s within two feet of the ground, that’ll be a life saver!

Growth doesn’t happen by accident.

It usually happens when you make the choice to step into discomfort… repeatedly💪🏽

I’ve seen it in every season of my life, in football, in engineering, and in real estate. 

The environment changes, but the rule is the same: if you’re not growing, you’re decaying 📈vs📉

Growth doesn’t always look flashy. 

Sometimes it’s sitting with the hard questions. 
Sometimes it’s learning a skill that nobody notices until years later. 
Sometimes it’s walking away from comfort (or non-beneficial discomfort) because of a limiting situation that was keeping you stagnant.

I’ve had to hold space for growth in ways I didn’t expect, recovering from injury when I thought my career was done, seeking new knowledge/skills when I had no roadmap, and rebuilding myself when it felt easier to just stay the same. 

Every time, it demanded patience, humility, and curiosity🧐

But it always paid back tenfold.

The truth is, growth will cost you. 

But staying where you are will cost you 10x more!
