SimplePractice is a product-led, user-centric healthcare software company supporting private practices. As a designer, I'm working to set a new new standard for behavioral health UX by harmonizing company priorities with customer needs.

Senior Product Designer

• Embedded from kickoff on the 2-3 projects per quarter in the core clinician experience that have the highest risk, biggest mental model shift, most complexity, or greatest user impact
• Executes full-stack content design work: problem definition, user research, flow mapping, content strategy, information architecture, design iterations, UX writing, usability testing, release strategy, content documentation, and content QA
• Consistently looks for content needs and opportunities that others don't see, and finds ways to fit them into existing work (or make the case for reprioritization)
• Took initiative to define and drive alignment on AI principles during hack week, starting a company-wide conversation about ethical AI and data use as part of a brand trust initiative 
• Worked with a product manager to define, document, and operationalize a new process that restricts company access to Appcues, preventing poor customer experiences and keeping a high bar for the quality and volume of in-app communication

Senior Content Designer

• Functioned as a leader within the main clinician experience, making complex decisions independently and delivering a large volume of high-quality, well-documented content work
• Overhauled and enhanced the content design standards to improve the efficiency and quality of the design team’s work
• Championed inclusive language by collaborating with a product manager to test and implement non-harmful name field labels
• Led the redesign of onboarding checklist content to optimize for flow completion rates and ultimately improve conversion

Content Designer

Waldorf Astoria Washington DC

Responsibilities:
• Specialized in social events + weddings
• Refined proposal templates
• Rewrote event packages
• Iterated sales pitch language
• Designed the flow of site inspections
• Systemized CRM processes with Salesforce
• In spring 2019, oversaw the bi-annual Customer Connections Week by leading strategy meetings, developing an outreach plan, and supporting the sales team throughout the drive

Results:
• As of March 2020, at 118% of year-to-date individual sales goal
• 65% conversion rate from leads to definite business
• Booked 100% of the wedding event goal for 2019 and 120% of the 2020 goal
• Responsible for 44% of the 2019 team goal with a personal goal of $1.4 million and 43% of the 2020 goal with a personal goal of $1.7 million
• In the first quarter of 2019, contributed significantly to the first quarter in department history that achieved over 100% of team goal
• Within 18 months, closed almost $2 million worth of business

Senior Catering Sales Manager

The Hermitage Hotel

As Tennessee’s only Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond hotel, The Hermitage Hotel sets a new standard for luxury. My responsibilities and results included:

• Specialized in weddings
• Managed stakeholders including vendors, clients, and staff
• Wrote sales scripts
• Mapped event timelines
• Exceeded all but one quarterly goal while contributing 56% of monthly departmental goals
• Negotiated profitable contracts with an up-sell percentage of 51%

Catering Sales Manager

•Sold $100,000 in events for groups of 25 or fewer guests via diligent sales tactics and upselling
•Managed logistics including event setup and service, site visits, contracts, BEOs, room layouts, scheduling servers, wine selection, and vendors while exceeding client expectations through anticipatory service

Event Sales Coordinator

My experience in healthcare tech includes 0-1 features, integrations, growth and onboarding, clinical documentation, core experience design, artificial intelligence principles and features, and content standards.

Currently, I'm expanding my visual design skills and transitioning to a product design role. As a design generalist, I can do subterfuge content work while owning the end-to-end design process.
