As a Sales Engineer / Marketing Executive for the Business Development Dept, I am responsible for making Sales, executing Marketing, as well as headlining and planning for EPCC tender execution for the organization.

Activities:

Sales
•	Establishes sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
•	Participate, plan, and execute costing for EPCC Interconnection Facilities (IF) tenders for both Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), as well as for private clients.
•	Identifies opportunities at existing and potential new customers.
•	Coordinates the flow of information sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc.
•	Evaluates data to ensure area goal achievement.
•	Builds and maintain strong relationship with customers.
•	Ensures achievement of sales target.
•	Monitors client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk which affect organization.
•	Manages the sales support and administrative procedures within the sales process.
•	Responsible for sales forecasting activities, pricing, and achieve sales.

Marketing
•	Monitor competitor for best practices and develop market intelligence for new product development process and product pricing programs.
•	Identify new contacts / markets in order to promote / enhance/ channel sales to the market with appropriate business model.
•	Manage key customers and at the same time establishes customers or downstream network to ensure smooth and effective sales management.
•	Ensure marketing objectives are aligned to organization direction and goals.

Achievements:

•	Ongoing Large-Scale Solar (LSS) Mentari Interconnection Facilities project contract for TNB Renewables worth RM 15 million.
•	Ongoing PMU Pantai rehab works contract worth RM 5 million.
•	Ongoing PMU Proton rehab works contract worth RM 4.2 million.

Sales Engineer | Marketing Executive | Tender Coordinator, Business Development Dept.

As a Production Planning, Logistics & Material Management engineer at Tenaga Switchgear Sdn Bhd, I am in charge of running the operations; from getting components and items from suppliers, negotiating component prices, planning productions, control of inventories, to delivering the finished products to all substations required by our client. 

Activities:

•	Creating a material requirement planning (MRP) based on the bill of materials (BOM) obtained from design engineers. 
•	Based on the client’s requirement schedule, a master production schedule (MPS) is created to both maximizing material availability when needed and minimizing material overstocking.
•	Responsible in negotiating and obtaining the best possible price from our suppliers.
•	Logistically, working with our agents ensuring our major components coming in from our principle in Spain arrived in a timely manner, and ensuring the relevant documents needed for the custom duty and taxes are prepared when needed.
•	Working along with the Production team to ensure product completion in time, as per scheduled according to the MPS created.
•	For the material management, controlling the outflow of components as per the MRP requirement.
•	Bi-monthly stock take of inventory to ensure no unnecessary stocks were taken out of the inventory.
•	Deliveries of our products made according to the MPS. Request for invoice (RFI) prepared to be registered as sales monthly.

Achievements:

•	Maximized sales according to the demands and minimized wastage of components. 
•	Best price achieved by leveraging purchases in a larger volume and procuring components only when needed to minimize cash outflow, and by having strong relations with our suppliers.
•	Obtained exemptions of duties by MIDA, and SST exemption by the Malaysian Government, significantly reducing overall costs of expenditure.
•	Minimized waste of manpower and components during production
•	Minimized stock wastage by having strong management and SOP
