I focused my practice almost exclusively on civil litigation, including contract disputes, employment matters, insurance matters, collection matters, real estate disputes, landlord/tenant matters, and general business disputes. I handled all stages of litigation, including evaluating a file, preparing to file suit, conducting discovery, including taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, negotiating settlements, advising clients, conducting legal research, trial practice, and appellate work. My practice also focused on prevention of litigation by advising on contracts and other agreements and the drafting and negotiation of same. I assisted on numerous trials, including second chairing over five jury trials. I first chaired one jury trial in a breach of contract matter, where I secured both a jury verdict and directed verdict in favor of my client. I also first chaired an arbitration matter, and assisted in and directed several mediations on behalf of my clients.
