I manage all marketing executions for Raytec’s Americas regions (Canada, the USA, Central and South America) Raytec Ltd. is the leading manufacturer in the world for security and surveillance LED lighting; and a growing leader in hazardous area and heavy industrial lighting.

In January of 2024 I became Raytec's sustainable planet team representative for the Americas - this is an internal team within Raytec that focuses on tracking and reducing CO2e emissions, electricity consumption, and business travel. Raytec achieved carbon neutrality in 2023 and 2024.

Calabogie Brewing Co. LTD

Calabogie Brewing Co. is a larger-scale brewery in Ontario with two breweries, two taprooms, and a large presence in restaurants and bars in Ontario with sales representatives across the province. They also own their own canning facility that serves 12+ breweries in the ottawa area for labelling and canning beer, a company called "CBC Solutions" which I also helped to brand and create. 

I managed all aspects of marketing for the business including retail sales strategies (LCBO, beer store SKUs, inventory, marketing), in-house social media management and content creation; event planning and managing ticket sales; graphic design, creation of beer label designs, merchandise design and ordering, managing the Shopify website backend SKU's, inventory, applied e-commerce widgets, automation, retargeting and incentives, and overall look and feel of layout and graphics as well as analyzing metrics.

Digital Marketing Manager

Whiprsnapr Brewing Company

Whiprsnapr is a very small micro-brewery in Bells Corners that focuses on doing weird, small-batch style-bending beers.

My duties entailed identifying, developing and implementing an official marketing strategy, based on knowledge of the establishment's objectives, market characteristics, and cost/markup factors.

Designing, promoting and implementing creative events and sponsorships like markets, festivals, drag shows, etc.

I would regularly conduct market research analysis to identify specific market trends, opportunities, and examine competitor performance.

I collected and analyzed sales data, using Shopify's web traffic metrics such as page visits, transaction size, link popularity, click-through rates, and cost-per clicks.

I would conduct online marketing initiatives, such as paid placements, sponsorship programs, email promotions using MailChimp, or viral marketing campaigns on social media websites such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Optimize website exposure by analyzing search engine patterns to direct online placement of keywords or other content.

Kichesippi Beer Co. is a craft brewery in Bells Corners which focuses on community, being active and family-friendly fun. I began working here part time, alongside a full-time office job, but slowly merged into full time running their social media.

Social Media Assistant

Harvest House

Harvest House is a one year long residential drug addiction treatment program which works with the courts for young men who are currently on active criminal charges relating to drugs.
I took on split administrative and marketing duties in this role.

- filing electronic and hard copy files
- writing the official technical procedures of the policy and procedure manual and staff on duty manual
- creation and fulfilment of vital forms and packages
- database management, creation and maintenance of key electronic templates
- applicant tracking statuses
- completed more than 300 intensive phone screening interviews for prospective applicants from jail (phone calls lasting 20 minutes or longer)
- tracking urinalysis testing statistics via excel, ordering urine tests, creating reports for clients' court hearings regarding their drug urine results, and managing the inventory of various types of urinalysis tests
- hosting writing training meetings with a team, contributing to ameliorating staff writing pieces
- dispensing of controlled substances to residents as they were prescribed, packaged the day before the dose was to be taken (medications such as suboxone and other opiate withdrawal medications) this required an extreme amount of precision and alertness to not make mistakes
- managing the continuing education records and pending courses needed for addictions counsellors in training
- tracking attendance for various educational courses, creating powerpoint presentations, photocopying course materials, and scanning completed documents and diplomas for classes
- managing resident case note files, writing daily outing letters for residents with legal conditions
- editing the quarterly newsletter, online success stories, and the court liaison's court reports and affidavits.

-providing quality customer service and practiced ways of offering negative news (such as the news of not buying the item they brought in) in a positive light and encouraging them to try again
