Together, they partnered with senior leaders to implement SOX controls, integrate systems, elevate leadership capacity, and drive organizational performance. Beyond her corporate roles, Amanda has a rich history of community leadership, with a focus on expanding access to technology and education. In 2004, she spearheaded the creation of western North Carolina’s first business and technology center, a transformative initiative for the region. From 2009 to 2011, she served as Board President of PANGAEA, a nonprofit internet service provider dedicated to connecting rural communities through reliable broadband access. During the 2020 pandemic, Amanda supported PANGAEA in founding the Carolina Community Broadband Alliance, a public-private partnership that expanded broadband access in North Carolina’s mountainous foothills to address digital connectivity gaps.
