	Recruited for all levels of talent and departments – from entry level, to sales, to executives
	Tasked with improving recruiting processes and strategies in order to keep up with company growth goals. Tasks implemented include (but are not limited to):
o	There were no paid sponsored jobs or resume databases in use, so I researched & implemented a 6-month trial with Indeed and LinkedIn’s recruiting services. With these new tools we increased the average number of completed job applications to 9 times the previous average. We also went from LinkedIn and Indeed accounting for 8% of our monthly job application sources to accounting for almost 70% of our job application sources.
o	Created from scratch hiring manager resource guides and job aids, as well as “best practice” reference materials to help them be more successful in their hiring processes.
o	Spearheaded a hiring & onboarding process mapping session for all key hiring & onboarding groups – IT, Licensing, Training, HR, and our EPIC Software team.  I did the same for our Internal Hire Process and New Hire Licensing process.
o	Created first-ever monthly Recruiting reports for executive leaders. I created my from scratch Excel spreadsheets, tables, charts & PowerPoint to accurately and visually display key data to leadership and use the data to see trends and make business decisions.
o	I was tasked with creating a social media presence and helping build the “employer brand” for recruiting – in particular on LinkedIn and Indeed.  
	LinkedIn: I increased the number of total followers from 1,235 to over 1,500 in one year. When I started our monthly Visitor Page Views were averaging 250-300. When I left they were at almost 1,000 views per month.
	Facebook: They were averaging about 2,800 followers; when I left, they were almost at 3,000 followers. They were averaging 150-200 monthly Facebook Visits, and are now averaging 1,000-1,500 per month.

Recruiter

Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation

	Approximately 10k employees companywide; Averaged 30-50+ openings at any given time. Recruited for all levels of talent (from entry level, to contingent workers, to C-suite), and for a variety of departments: IT / Software Engineering (Technical Recruiter), Marketing, Mortgage Operations, Legal, Compliance, HR, Accounting & Finance
	In addition to my Talent Acquisition Specialist duties below, I also took on the “SME” role for my team, acting as both subject matter expert and team leader. The key areas of responsibility for this role are: Systems, Processes, Projects, and Reporting.
o	Systems – iCIMS was a huge part of my role. I met weekly with our Workday HRIS analyst to review reports, ensure best processes are being used, review software updates that may affect our processes, request new processes, and any other questions that may arise regarding iCIMS. I created a very detailed and organized OneNote document that I maintained for the team that documented every step of our iCIMS processes. I also helped the CHRO by managing our third-party vendor accounts and usage.
o	Processes – I updated and enhanced our written processes and procedures, training the rest of my team. I spearheaded creating from scratch new “services” for our TA Team to bring in internal revenue.
o	Projects – The projects I worked on varied, but I welcome any and all projects. Example: I worked with marketing to do a complete overhaul of our Careers website. I also worked with our intranet team to completely overhaul our Recruiting – Manager’s Corner intranet site and resources.
o	Reporting – This is where I really got experience with & a zeal for reporting and data. I was primary to ensure data integrity from our reports out of iCIMS. I cleaned up the existing reports to ensure they were configured correctly to show the desired data. I also dug in and created custom reports to help show trends in data, volume/workload by recruiter, and identify gaps in our processes, etc..

Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist & SME

	Responsible for high-volume, full-cycle corporate recruiting nationwide, from entry-level hourly roles to executive roles. This includes but is not limited to: Conducting initial intake meeting with hiring managers; Doing all my own sourcing & pre-screening; Coordinating & scheduling all interviews (in-person & remote); Handling full offer process, including drafting offer letters; Partnering with Human Resources on background check process; and notifying hiring manager and candidate when they’ve been cleared for hire.
	Work on special projects for the team
	Member of iCIMS implementation team as we transitioneded away from Workday as our ATS (but still used it as our HRIS). Helped lead UAT for new ATS, along with our HRIS team. Created user documentation for our TA Team to use iCIMS.

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Vogel Bros. Building Co.

- Provide support to the Director of Safety & Human Resources
- Administrative: Maintain meeting agendas and minutes; Process claims (Workers Comp, Auto, etc.) and maintain incident paperwork; Maintain and organize electronic file structure for Human Resources and Safety documents company-wide; Responsible for Human Resources and Safety document management (creation, updates and tracking). 
- Communication: Lead department team with generating content for and distributing monthly reporting/communications of company-wide Safety & HR Report ("newsletter"); Active writer for monthly Safety blogs for company website; Assist with compiling metrics and departmental goal updates for monthly leadership meetings.
- Anticipator / Continuous Improvement: Continually research, learn about and seek out the latest in HR news, technology, trends and legal issues to best serve employees and the company; Update procedures, policies and manuals company-wide to stay on top of compliance and best practices for talent management; Always on the lookout for process improvements and streamlining to reduce waste/LEAN; Monitor Human Resources activities and if warranted, advise of potential risk to business needs, compliance requirements, or employee relations.
- Strategic People Partner: Assist with development of staff by providing tools and processes for performance appraisals and professional development; Offer coaching and sharing of knowledge to help other staff increase their knowledge, professionally develop, and be the best they can be in their roles; Oversee employee on-boarding, working to ensure employees are set up to be successful and develop personally and professionally.

Safety & HR Assistant

- Provide administrative support for the Project Management Team.
- Prepare, distribute and track contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals and change management.
- Request, verify proper limits, and track insurance certificates.
- Assist with bid projects including procurement of plans, solicitation of bids from subcontractors and suppliers, placing ads in trade journals, preparing bid forms, securing bid bonds, etc.
- Enter and maintain information in iSqFt and Contract Management databases.
- Assist Project Managers with general clerical duties including word processing, data entry, copying, filing, etc.
Assist with mail room activities, back up Receptionist as needed, and help maintain common work areas.

Project Assistant

Sun Prairie Ice Arena

- Processed Accounts Payables & Receivables using QuickBooks, as well as created tracking spreadsheets in Excel in order to have more detailed records of financial transactions
- Created both a physical and electronic filing system & implemented procedures for filing all business documents
- Fielded phone & online inquiries from customers & the general public
- Assisted the rink manager with scheduling & coordinating special events (such as birthday parties & private ice time for business events)
- Worked with the arena's various adult hockey leagues to coordinate season schedules, coordinate game times, schedule referees (as needed), & make sure game sheets were printed for all games

Administrative Assistant - Part Time

Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection

- Respond to phone calls, e-mails, faxes, mail and walk-ins from the community, businesses and law enforcement officials who request assistance from our office, focusing on privacy protection and identity theft fraud
- Provide outreach to the community through presentations and workshops designed to educate consumers, businesses, law enforcement, and other protection agencies, in order to create awareness of the dangers of identity theft and how to proactively guard against it
- Develop informational brochures with tips on privacy protection; maintain website updates of  brochures and communication pieces for the public; and coordinate customer mailings and office brochures display
- Assist with training and mentoring of new office personnel, including teaching them basic database operations, standard operating procedures for handling complaints, customer service (phone, e-mail, in-person), and proofreading their complaint correspondence

Consumer Specialist - Office of Privacy Protection 

- Monitored and analyzde consumer complaints, reviewing them for possible violations of federal and state laws, codes and regulations, as well as for unfair business practices
- Made contact with consumers and businesses through written correspondence, telephone, or e-mail to mediate complaints and open communications between the parties and obtain compliance with consumer laws
- Maintained community presence by doing presentations and being a face-to-face resource for consumers
- Took appropriate complaint follow-up action, determining if further investigation or referrals should be made, based on an analysis of the available information and knowledge of the business’ practices
- Maintained thorough and current understanding of office policies and procedures, as well as being knowledgeable of all laws, codes and regulations enforced by the department

Bilingual Consumer Specialist

Del Monte Foods, Inc.

○ Assisted two Human Resources Managers at two different Del Monte Foods plant locations by maintaining staffing reports and seasonal employee files, creating memos and handbooks, and helping managers juggle their busy schedules by taking on their smaller project responsibilities 
○ Organized and maintained offices; made sure that all files and documents were properly handled as well as all necessary human resources paperwork was well stocked and up to date (such as employee applications and required postings)
○ Organized and arranged seasonal orientation for employees and organized training sessions with plant leaders; orientation planning included booking local high school gymnasium, reserving audio/video equipment, communication of the event date and time, as well as preparing informational folders for all attendees

I love software with great reporting features, but I also have no fear digging into an Excel workbook and working some magic. Tell a story, demonstrate a gap, or propose a solution with numbers not assumptions or guesses.
