Hired to instil operational discipline across the agencies division of The Raconteur Group. The role focussed on building strength in every pillar across the agency group. In addition to operations, a significant emphasis was placed on guiding and advising the founding team on strategy, M&A, service line expansion and new product development.

The Sandpit “Business Builder” was a unique infrastructure focused on marketing technology startups, developed to de-risk them and overcome the early stage failure rate.

The Commercial Director role focussed on enabling each early stage startup within the group to achieve revenue growth as quickly as possible. This ranged from securing customer number one, through to developing and implementing commercial strategy, structure and culture as the startups attempted to move through the various stages of scaling. 

Tenure was spent dedicated primarily to two startups: weseethrough & A Million Ads (see below)

Contagious Communications

Joined Contagious as a Sales Executive, primarily focussed on growing subscriptions of its quarterly magazine. At the time this was the most junior position at the company. 

Successive promotions led to the role of Global Commercial Director in summer 2013. Assumed full responsibility for revenue generation and retention, with a particular focus on its relaunched intelligence product.
