I run the community for high-growth British Asian entrepreneurs, operators and investors. Bae HQ is on a mission to inspire, connect and scale the next generation of British Asian entrepreneurs. In January 2020, I was an expert tech consultant who had worked with big brands across the world. Yet it was rare for a project to make my eyes light up. My life changed when I started writing online as part of a New Year's resolution. I became the second fastest writer to gain 50,000 followers on Medium.com behind only Barack (freaking) Obama! I became the co-editor of the Entrepreneur's Handbook publication with over a million views per month. It became too much to handle as a side hustle so I took it full-time in June 2021. I wrote hundreds of pieces for startups and founders around the world and coached founders to become 10/10 writers rather than merely 7/10. I interviewed over 100 people across the Mindful & Driven and Entrepreneur's Handbook podcasts. This includes Ev Williams (Co-Founder of Twitter) and Marc Randolph (Co-Founder of Netflix!). Then my dad passed away in August 2022. Everything I had been doing felt hollow. Yet he had helped so many small businesses to not only survive but grow through his work.
