• Owned and responsible for transition from Monolithic Architecture to Micro-services. Developed the Print Micro-service, increasing the threshold of concurrent users by 16x by building a Queue backed Printing service responsible for printing of kitchen KOTs, restaurant bills, duplicate and online payment receipts. 

• Designed and Implemented Logging systems for the Print Micro-service, logging and recording at app, queue and micro service levels to keep tabs on the tasks and processes running, making the Root Cause Analysis convenient.

• Contributed in the Analytics -> Analytics 2.0 transition, focused on enhancements around UI/UX experiences, and state management over frontend.

Software Engineer

• Implemented end-to-end segmentation and indexing algorithm over >1M data points containing order details, to facilitate easy customer targeting for Shopify store owners using React, Redux, Immer, Thunk
and Node.

• Designed a highly scalable system architecture for Customer Support Chat using Hasura, GupShup, AWS SQS, AWS Lambda with GraphQL mutations and subscriptions ensuring high concurrency and availability.

• Developed highly responsive, modular, lightning fast frontend for Customer Support using Next.js, Chakra UI, Apollo client, Redux to handle active chat subscriptions and state changes.

• Designed the Customer Support UI and UX (user interface and user experience) handling wireframing, prototyping, mockups and revision based on customer feedback to ensure a top-notch user experience.

Engineering and Design

Dubverse

• Developed a Video Dubbing web app from scratch, end-to-end handling responsive frontend, scalable backend, efficient system architecture design, low latency database and streaming which can convert multiple speaker content in any language to any language with human editing support.

• Optimized the audio and video overlay algorithm and storage architecture distributed over S3 and EC2 to reduce cost by 17% and processing time by 12%.

• Optimized response time on the server-side by 13% by the use asynchronous calls, multiprocessing pipelines, and distributed system architecture to serve multiple users concurrently.

• Worked in sync with Product and Design to implement a convenient and unambiguous user flow along ensuring good user experience.

Pikkal & Co - B2B Podcast Agency

• Auto-entity and ID recognition using Natural Language Processing to cluster entities present in the podcast via Audio Information Retrieval to a single source portfolio, increasing the user traffic by 15%.

• Responsible for end to end development and deployment of Podcast Analysis and Streaming web-app. Used Contexts to ensure un-paused podcast experience and implemented multithreading using Go Scripts to optimize the daily rank fetching algorithm by 70%.

• Headed and managed 3 engineering teams under me. Brainstormed various ideas with design and engineering team to target user problems and came up with feasible features that’d solve them. Also
designed the business model for monetization over the developed features.

• Worked with brands and leaders like McKinsey & Co, Facebook, Air Asia to help them achieve their business goals via B2B podcasts.

Product and Machine Learning

Hewlett Packard Enterprise

• Analyzed and improved the existing Stock Prediction Model of the company to achieve 90% accuracy using ensembled LSTM models.
• Developed Live Twitter Sentimental Analysis model for company feedbacks using the latest tweets with company mentions.

AI Developer

Currently building @ClubzFM. I'm a Creative Full Stack Developer with a deep interest in Music Information Retrieval, Recommendation Systems, and UI/UX experiences. I prefer to invest my skills in projects that boost my creative side of the brain. 

I love to work at places where I can take ownership of the product end to end and have industry experience ranging from working in established companies, well-funded startups to ideation phase startups.
