• Built in-house automation orchestration engine ( read as Zapier) using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Django for fitness boutique owners to run dynamic, automated workflows based on customer journey, bookings and purchases, leading to a 10x better marketing, revenue and retention for clients.

• Owned, lead and built the full-stack in-house marketing & segmentation engine, that processed and queried over 1M+ data points, for fitness boutiques to send Email and SMS promotional campaigns to their customers based on various activity such as date of membership purchase, number of classes attended, date of expiry for a pack, etc using Django, SQL, Celery, SendGrid, AWS Lambda, Redis, and Angularjs.

• Designed, implemented and optimised the entire system architecture for ETL, data ingestion pipeline, and periodic scheduling of data from the production database to sync and maintain the campaigns database, storing data on events level which made querying the customer for campaigns 20x faster with a latency < 6 secs for 1M+ data points using raw SQL, Celery, AWS Lambda and Django.

• Worked on understanding business logic & codebase flow for transferring the legacy code from PHP, Laravel to Python microservices using Django, and implemented chargebee integrations for payments being processed across campaigns in PHP.

• Owned and responsible for transition from Monolithic Architecture to Micro-services. Developed the Print Micro-service, increasing the threshold of concurrent users by 16x by building a Queue backed Printing service responsible for printing of kitchen KOTs, restaurant bills, duplicate and online payment receipts. 

• Designed and Implemented Logging systems for the Print Micro-service, logging and recording at app, queue and micro service levels to keep tabs on the tasks and processes running, making the Root Cause Analysis convenient.

• Contributed in the Analytics -> Analytics 2.0 transition, focused on enhancements around UI/UX experiences, and state management over frontend.

• Implemented end-to-end segmentation and indexing algorithm over >1M data points containing order details, to facilitate easy customer targeting for Shopify store owners using React, Redux, Immer, Thunk
and Node.

• Designed a highly scalable system architecture for Customer Support Chat using Hasura, GupShup, AWS SQS, AWS Lambda with GraphQL mutations and subscriptions ensuring high concurrency and availability.

• Developed highly responsive, modular, lightning fast frontend for Customer Support using Next.js, Chakra UI, Apollo client, Redux to handle active chat subscriptions and state changes.

• Designed the Customer Support UI and UX (user interface and user experience) handling wireframing, prototyping, mockups and revision based on customer feedback to ensure a top-notch user experience.

We're here to bring back the culture of fandom — and unlike everyone else, we’re building it as superfans, not just for them.

Previously built Musixspace (48k users) — match music taste with friends/strangers (before Spotify Blend was a thing), and Mixes — AI + music theory = banger playlists from prompts.

I also write a newsletter The Fan Perspective — a fan’s raw, unfiltered, no-BS lens on the Direct-to-Fan revolution, read (and respected) by top music execs, artist teams, and D2F builders around the world.
