I started as an individual contributor in the SDR/BDR role and worked in that capacity for 18 months. During that time, I was able to dedicate myself to learning more about prospecting, cold-calling, social-selling, and the sales process. 

Now, I get to continue my learning- but in more of an operations and support role. I have been learning about recruitment, Human Resources, and Talent Development (and too many other categories to list). 


About the Company: Our Sales Innovation Lab helps sales leaders determine and validate the best approach to acquire, grow or retain their customer base.  Sales executives often struggle with innovating in their organizations because experimentation in a ‘live environment’ can have a negative impact on sales quota and revenue. To overcome this challenge we deliver Programs and Playbooks. Programs are designed as a custom full-service innovation lab model on an outsourced basis for customer acquisition, growth or retention. Playbooks are validated experiments in a live environment, documented and delivered to our client’s sales organizations to achieve higher conversions and reduced ramp time.

ExtraHop provides IT analytics for the enterprise and I was lucky enough to be a sales consultant for them via InsideOut. 

When we were brought on, their focus was on network traffic analytics with use cases in both ITops (especially netops) with a side of security. That has shifted and the use cases on both sides of the "aisle" are still quite powerful. They have now become known as a major player in threat detections, guided investigations, and reducing MTTR on both the operational and security sides. 

My strengths lie in building rapport, community engagement, and beginning conversations that have mutual benefit.   

I was fortunate to get the opportunity to work in a variety of verticals and territories, including Fortune 100, Federal (civilian and DoD), and mid to large sized enterprises.

Interviewing MMA and other combat sports athletes with a focus on women in the sport. It was my pleasure to help fighters tell their stories while helping fans find new favorites. I also provided live coverage for MMA shows in the central Florida area.

We provided patient educational services to medical facilities, providers, and clinics. Our solution included television-like programming produced by some of the best (CNN Medical Unit) and information made available digitally on tablets for patients as they waited to be seen. 
 
My role was simple: identify practices who would/could benefit from the services, generate interest in the complimentary service, and determine if they would/could qualify.The greatest thing about our service was that it was free; but the hardest part was that it was free, so folks who didn't qualify couldn't buy it.

Blogging, tweeting, interviewing, and commenting on MMA, Martial Arts, and the combatants. I was able to interact with fighters, promoters, and fans, and I still can't believe they paid me for it. 
It was my job to have relevant and interesting conversations that lead to fans and fighters, athletes and coaches to identify with our brand. And I loved it.

By day, I help our clients decide how to tell their stories- whether they are looking to build pipeline or keep current customers happy, or something else. My hobby was helping MMA fighters tell their stories (for combatpress.com) and my side gig is helping people, any people, tell their stories. I interview, write, edit, and publish family histories, autobiographies, and love stories.
