As a Resident Director, I prepared students to move the world through a transformative and collaborative residential curriculum experience.  I recruited, hired, and trained student staff who built community, prioritized safety, and believed in the power of their voices. I thrived in creating opportunities for people to grow and learn more about themselves and their gifts. I enjoyed managing full time staff members who were new in their careers, and oversaw their professional development. I oversaw the day to day operations of a student residential housing facility, which included creating systems to manage front desk protocols as well as adjudicating conduct policy violations. the flexibility in this role gave me the opportunity to work on passion projects, like creating the Policy and Procedures document for our Student Mental Health Coordination office.

In this role, I advised and mentored the Inter Fraternity Sorority Council executive board and provided support to individual Greek Letter Organizations. My biggest accomplishment in this role was creating a policies and procedures manual for Greek Life at Rutgers University Newark. In addition to advising, I used my expertise in programming and budget management to create engaging and cost effective programs for students at all levels, with a high focus on equipping seniors with the skills to thrive after college.

Student Experience Coordinator

Occidental College

OxyEngage is a pre-orientation program that introduces incoming students to the vibrant city of Los Angeles. In this role, I managed an $80,000 budget, created fun and educational itineraries for 250 students enrolled in the program, and trained 26 student trip leaders.

OxyEngage Coordinator (NODA)

Rutgers University

In this role, I managed the platform design of seven online professional development workshops. Review and assisted in the development of the organizational marketing initiatives. I interfaced with our professional development clients from the initial intake through the completion of contracts for online and in person training. I coordinated all logistics for in person and online trainings - including room set up, catering, travel, lodging, registration and material distribution. I managed work study students I cultivated client relationships through consistent correspondence.  I tracked client engagement through an organizational Access database.
