Considered one of the foremost references in Employability and the Future of Work on a global scale, Dr. Amber Wigmore Álvarez is Chief University Partnerships Officer at JobTeaser and Associate Professor at Universidad Loyola and IE University. Prior she was Chief Talent Officer of Highered, EFMD's strategic careers partner, with 800+ business schools and universities in 92 countries. She is Program Director of the EFMD's Career Professionals Development Institute (CPDI), and Facilitator of the HR Tech module. Dr. Wigmore Álvarez is a recognized thought leader in talent, known for research that shapes the future of work. She led Highered's global employability upskilling partnership with Coursera. Dr. Wigmore Álvarez brings more than 8 years of experience from the world of global career services at top-ranked IE, where she was Executive Director of Talent & Careers, managing a team of more than 40 talent professionals who delivered services to 6,000 students, 65,000 alumni and 4,000 corporate partners. Dr. Wigmore Álvarez teaches people management, HR, executive presence, and salary negotiation. She leads global workshops and moderates conferences on employability, DEI, and early careers. Dr. Wigmore Álvarez moderates panels in 30+ countries and has been quoted in publications such as the Financial Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, CNN, BusinessBecause, Expansión, El País, El Economista, Forbes and Elle. Dr. Wigmore Álvarez was Executive Fellow at Woxsen University (India) and has held numerous leadership and advisory roles in global higher education. She was the creator of the EFMD Career Services Steering Committee in 2013 and served as a member of the EFMD Annual Conference Steering Committee. She was a member of the Academic Advisory Board of EAE Business School (Spain), the Highered Advisory Board, and the Career Services & Employer Alliance (CSEA) Standards Committee. As Co-Founder of Wigmore & Álvarez, Dr. Wigmore Álvarez teaches courses on Intercultural Management and Breakthrough Leadership, including Communications, Growth Mindset, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership in Cross-Cultural Teams. As a Doctor of Economics and Business Science (Universidad Loyola), Dr. Wigmore Álvarez's research focuses on University Social Responsibility (USR) and business ethics.
