As a result of major surgery I stepped back into a hospitality role which enabled me to recovery, and attend ad hoc hospital appointments. 

My biggest achievement here was to revolutionise the way up-sells and set promotional days were laid out and structured within our store. Alongside this, teaching and training staff on sales techniques has improved our performance on these days by 90%.

I was a Business Consultant in the newly formed Commercial Life Sciences Division. 

Key Skills Included:
•Managing CRM systems in order to keep all recruitment processes up to date, and to adhere to data protection laws. 
•Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, such as, websites and social media (Linked In Recruiter – Company Facebook + Instagram)

Châteaux & Hôtels Collection - Alain Ducasse Group

I worked as a part-time Sommelier working for the Alain Ducasse, a triple Michelin star restaurant whilst I had my Photography business. The work was complex and engaging, persuasively working with the diners to enhance their dining experience with correct pairings. The highlight of this job was being sent to Burgundy to partake in some on hand experience in wine making from grape to glass, and selecting wines for the up-coming seasonal changes from this trip.

When I was 17 I set my own Photography business up with money I had earned from Figure skating professionally as a teenager. I set it up in London and had my own rented studio; I specialised in Atmospheric Landscape Photography and Nature Photography. I managed to grow this into a business with a 40k turnover PA.
Duties Included:

•Adapting to new styles of photography based on photographic and media trends and swiftly learning these new techniques.
•Setting up my own website and my own domain name.
•Submitting my own taxes for self-employment with the aid of an accountant.
•Making marketing strategies to increase client numbers and keeping current clients returning through separating my business apart from the competition. 
•Maintaining a successful business with a 40k turnover within 2 years and keeping balanced books all the way through.
•Creating a thorough business plan with viable and achievable goals for creating a client base and development for the business long term.
•Engaging with social media to promote and showcase my work.
•Styles of photography included studio work with models, families and some charity work for Battersea dogs home and Macmillan Cancer Charities. Macro photography, Landscape Photography, Surreal Photography, Nature & Wildlife Photography, and HDR photography and finally event photography for weddings, live gigs, parties, and away days.
• The biggest skill I gained from running my own business was the ability to gain clients through personally engaging and showing interest in their own passions and turning this personalised approach to driving sales of more pictures bought from a studio shoot, or regular repeat business with clients I had built a partnership up with. This allowed me to push sales & trade and made my business a resounding success. 
•Use of Google analytics, Instagram and Facebook advertising to drive sales
