We all do a mix of things, it's the way of the future #employment.  

When I'm not doing #Web3, I teach #Pilates.  

Recently I've been teaching people about the core - so I thought I would share - because whether you are an athlete, a chief officer, or an officer of any level - we all stand and sit. 

And quite frankly I think we could all do it slightly stronger.  So, here's my view on one way to do that. 

Yes, this is what the end of 36 miles looks like!!

That is a very very long way. 

In my practice run, when I ran 36 miles, one person drove past me 6 times and eventually stopped and asked me - you have been running all day and I’ve passed you 6 times - where are you going?

Home was the short answer - but the long one in between breaths was I’m practising for 36 miles.

Yes, this picture is me, a few years ago.

You will see I’m leaning forward. Most of us would after 36 miles, so I’m giving myself a break.  The reason I could stand up straight, for most of the run, as that is what you need to do to run 36 miles is because of Pilates.

I can’t rave enough about how Pilates, is more than just an exercise regime, it acts as a cornerstone for building core strength, optimizing posture, and refining balance. Its profound impact on the body's centre—specifically, the transverse abdominis, often heralded as the body's natural corset—translates into remarkable benefits for runners.

So if you want to stand, sit, walk, ski, sail, or run slightly better - adopt some #Pilates.

Should we or shouldn’t we?

I, genuinely believe that in the heart of every classroom lies the potential for extraordinary #human connection and learning. Yet, we hear so much about how #teachers find themselves consumed with the administrative and planning aspects of teaching, leaving less time for human-to-human connections.

So what about if we adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the #educational sphere, to provide a helping hand for teachers in planning and administration. 

Freeing their time, enabling them to reclaim their time and refocus on what every parent would say is important - their child has a lot of human-to-human connection with the teacher.

This additional time would be beneficial regardless of learning styles: thinking, feeling, and behaving.

So here are a few AI tools that are being used across the UK and the globe by education services:

Quizlet : https://quizlet.com/ Quizlet offers study tools and games that facilitate learning and memorization.

Squirrel AI : https://lnkd.in/eZXXsSEY Squirrel AI provides personalized learning experiences through its adaptive learning platform.

Duolingo : https://www.duolingo.com/ Duolingo makes language learning accessible and fun through its app and website, offering courses in many languages.

These tools can release time for face-to-face contact - why wouldn’t we use them

And whilst we might all talk AI now - let’s give a moment for how AI could help increase usage of the Metaverse

With #AI helping with planning and administration, I think teachers will have more time to explore future technology and how it can be used to add to current traditional teaching methods.

Imagine using the metaverse - with all students. The immersive virtual world offers unparalleled opportunities for experiential learning. Imagine having a feedback wall in the virtual classroom, history classes exploring ancient civilizations as if walking through them, or biology students observing ecosystems from the inside. The metaverse captivates students' imaginations and deepens their understanding by experiencing subjects in a multidimensional space.

Using AI to help with planning frees teachers to have time to explore the future and bring it into the classroom

Let's champion these innovations, for they hold the key to unlocking the full potential of both teachers and students, paving the way for a future where #education is truly about connection and discover.
