Amina is an Executive Director within Deloitte’s investment banking practice (Deloitte Corporate Finance) based out of Toronto, Canada. She advises CEOs and CFOs of Canada’s leading organizations on raising debt and equity capital and facilitates financing transactions for a range of corporate purposes such as growth capital, acquisition financing, capital restructuring and general corporate purposes. Amina has worked on marquee transactions across various industries with aggregate transaction value ranging in the billions of dollars. Outside of work, Amina has assisted numerous not-for-profit organizations with strategic planning and subsequent implementation of strategic plans. Amina strives to be a champion of mental health in her community given her own personal struggle with anxiety. She currently serves as a board member at Anxiety Canada, a non-profit organization created to raise awareness about anxiety and support access to proven resources and treatment and Barrie Family Health Organization, one of the largest family health teams in the province serving approximately 140,000 enrolled patients. Amina graduated with a First-Class Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London and is a qualified chartered accountant.
