Cloud Integration Project   [Nov 2016 – March 2018]
While deployed on the payroll of Encora Technologies Pvt. Ltd, I represented Wipro Technologies. My roles and responsibilities included:
•	Managed database migration from existing infrastructure to Oracle private cloud environment, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
•	Designed load balancing and service management for various applications to maintain high availability of databases.
•	Conducted requirement analyses for application migration from existing infrastructure to cloud services. This involved coordinating with Application owners to collect application requirements, understanding application nature and criticality before migration, and offering solutions.
•	Collaborated with different regions on testing new/beta versions of enhancements to existing releases before releasing them to customers.
•	Prepared and presented demos for application owners to highlight the benefits of database migration from existing infrastructure to cloud environment, including enhanced performance, high availability, and reduced operation cost.

Frame Migration (P7 to P8) and BAU for Global Consumer Group   (Nov 2015- Nov 2016)
While deployed on the payroll of Mind Craft Singapore Pvt Ltd, I represented IBM and handled P7 to P8 frame migration for more than 400 RAC and standalone database servers where the network configuration was changed completely. My roles and responsibilities included:
•	Managed BAU activities and resolved performance issues after migration.
•	Coordinated with Application teams for change control activities, including downtime planning, activity steps, and documentation.
•	Performed database and Grid upgrades.
•	Applied PSU/CPU/one-off patches on GRID and RDBMS software in a rolling/non-rolling manner.

As a DBA-Lead, I was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a team providing front-line support and maintenance of database systems across the globe (US, UK, India). This included incident, problem, change, and configuration management. I established processes to provide solutions for database-related issues and support requests for Oracle & MSSQL technology. 
Role and Responsibilities: 
• Managed multiple databases for Production/UAT/Dev environments in business-critical requirements for multiple clients across the entire US data center. Production database sizes ranged from 500GB to 10TB, with most databases catering to real-time applications. 
• Analyzed AWR, ASH reports for any bottlenecks. Performed backup and recovery testing; Assisted with database recovery in disaster situations. Gained experience working on OEM and Grid control to proactively prevent disaster situations. Provided support on AWS databases (which includes RDS and EC2).

• Build Physical Standby database for multiple clients based on the requirement documents provided by the client and implemented the standby adhering to strict guidelines.

• Performed Refresh/Clones for several databases for most of the clients on weekly basis from RAC to Non RAC environments and also on standalone systems versions ranging from Oracle 10g & 11g using hot backup, RMAN duplicate and Active RMAN Duplicate techniques based on client Infrastructure.

Worked on DIAL (Delhi International Airport Pvt. Ltd) T-3 New Delhi, project. The project is a joint venture project between WIPRO and GMR.
We were in this project since the implementation phase, where we were running our databases on Oracle RAC clustering on HP-UX 11i servers. We were running 7 critical Oracle 10g databases on RAC with Middle-layer in the three-layer architecture. RAC Databases are running in abstracted layer. Currently we are managing T-3 airport in 24*7 supports.

Implementation Phase:

•	We had configured Shared Server Architecture on one of our main database to handle 2000 concurrent connection coming from T1 and T2.
•	We had successfully implemented Oracle 10g Data Guard for RAC databases in Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) with OBSERVER.
•	Tuned the entire Oracle Cluster ware, RAC databases, Grid control, character set, ONS, VIP, mount point and Services failover issues.
•	Voting Disk and OCR files moved on shared location.
•	Cluster interface failure test cases for Public or Private LAN/VIP.
•	Implemented and configured the whole backup solution using RMAN on HP Data Protector on Tape library HP MSL 4048.
•	Coordinating with application team for the rest of development phase.
•	Extensive testing has been carried out on RAC load balancing, TAF, services, FCF for JDBC connections to database and VIP failover.
