• Developed a proprietary method to determine competitor die cast, plastic, powdered metal, machined, universal motors and electronics, and extruded costs which includes material, process, coating, shipping, and profits using VBA, SQL, MSAccess & MSExcel for table, miter, chop, reciprocating, routers, and circular saws
• Determined bottlenecks in manufacturing and methods to improve efficiency
• Calculated component cost, SG&A, Tooling, VOH, FOH, AFC, ATC, MC, Duties, Shipping, Margins, Allowances and Discounts, and Retail Margin and interpreted through Advanced MS Excel, Pivot Tables & Charts, & MS PowerPoint with focus on total cost reductions through the supply chain
• Used macroeconomic variables such as GDP, Currency Effects, Inflation, Interest Rate Changes, Labor Supply and Demand to determine trends
• Utilized naïve and seasonally adjusted forecast to anticipate demand along with determining capacity constraints to optimize production; minimized project risk using competitor SWOT’s
• Overseas travel to visit tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers in China for cost

• Objectively related Bosch tool benefits vs features using multivariate regression analysis

• Collaborated with Praxair Laser Coating to develop a tungsten carbide laser coated bushing shrink
fitted to galvanization rigs
• Integrated a new ERP system in order to streamline orders and inventory
• Ceramic Pump design involving high end ceramics honed to fit steel cylinders reducing ppm
contamination during pumping of pharmaceutical fluids, for NCA Technologies, a sister company of
McDanel
• Aggressive customer contact and service increased sales by 450% in one year
• Customer oriented position developing a business to business relationship
• Reverse engineered thermocouples from China to save 40%
• Led and made the decision to outsource components and save 50%

Product Sales / Design Engineer

Throttle Body Development
• Intermediate software design validation for the power train division implementing both mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Engineering reports for level 3 project, junior program management training, DOE and cause and effect tests for throttle bodies
• Failure Analysis for throttle bodies (DFMEA), specialized projects included torque testing for throttle valve screws, constant customer (GM) contact, daily meetings to relay information from customer to team, explanation of failures to customer and managers
• Trained technicians to interpret torque vs temperature graphs using regression analysis
• Reviewed project deliverables and APQP with program manager
