I am Amol Ballal, a dedicated Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in the design, management, and execution of complex water supply projects. I specialise in the on-site implementation of IIT Bombay’s patented technologies to address water distribution challenges in both rural and urban areas. In my current role as a Site Engineer, I am responsible for designing water supply systems, preparing and executing project plans, developing technical data sheets, coordinating with clients and contractors, managing manpower, and conducting regular work progress meetings with stakeholders. My responsibilities also include preparing detailed project reports (DPRs), drafting technical proposals, and delivering presentations to government officials, CSR heads, and other decision-makers to ensure alignment and approval. I have a strong ability to meet client expectations while ensuring that all work is completed within budget and on schedule. I am proficient in engineering software and tools such as WaterGEMS, EPANET, JalTantra, AutoCAD, Google Earth, and Microsoft Office, which I use to design, analyse, and document efficient and sustainable water infrastructure solutions.
