From the very beginning of my career, I knew that I wasn't cut out for just one thing. I had a taste for adventure, a hunger for diversity, and a thirst for knowledge. That's why I dove headfirst into sales, technical sales, product management, and program management, and even co-founded a few companies. I was a jack of all trades, and I loved it. But what really set me apart was my ability to jump into new industries and learn on the fly. I've gone from hyperloop to e-commerce, mobility to learning, and everything in between. And you know what? I've loved every minute of it. As time went on, I started to notice something interesting. I had a unique gift for seeing connections that others couldn't. I could draw parallels between different industries, ideas, and people in ways that left others scratching their heads. And that's when I started to think about making the jump from product management to venture capital. It wasn't an easy decision, mind you. Venturing into the world of VC would require me to learn new skills, adapt to a new mindset, and carve out a new path for myself. But I was determined to make a difference, and I knew that this was the best way to do it. You see, most of the rooms I entered in the world of startups and venture capital were anything but diverse. The same old faces, the same old ideas, and the same old biases ruled the day. I knew I had to do something about that. I had the skills, drive, and vision to help bring new voices to the table. To find startup founders with world-changing ideas and help them bring those ideas to life. To connect them with the talent, technology, funds, and networks they needed to succeed. And so I made the leap, and it's been a wild ride ever since. I've worked with all sorts of startup founders, from all different backgrounds and industries. I've helped them build their companies, forge new connections, and overcome every obstacle that came their way. And along the way, I've been able to draw on everything I've learned throughout my career - from sales to program management to product management and beyond. It hasn't always been easy, but it's been an adventure. And I know that I'm making a difference. Every time I help a diverse group of founders brings their ideas to life, every time I break down old barriers and build new connections, I know that I'm doing my part to make the world of startups a more vibrant, inclusive, and exciting place.
