I needed to change or I would end up sad, alone, and pretending everything was okay. I longed for... 🏆 a lifelong partnership 🏆 a healthy marriage 🏆 kids and being a strong parental figure to them But I felt hostage in a mind with second-hand beliefs. I knew I needed to become someone else to turn these thoughts into reality. I started desperately reading, writing, and searching for an answer to change myself, to become someone I’d be proud of. One who would attract the kind of man I wanted. I learned that the order in which you transform your life is 1. BE 2. DO 3. HAVE First, I needed to BE a different person. One who would shake off the chains of family history and bad beliefs. Then, I would need to DO things differently. The parties, the random jobs, the unstable relationships. None of that fit my new identity. I got my first office job. A year later, I created a position within the same company and doubled my salary. I supported employees as an internal coach. I met my husband while I was starting my coaching business. After BEING a different person who DOES things differently, I ended up HAVING what I envisaged: Marriage & family in one of the most beautiful places in the world, doing fulfilling work.
