Yesterday, Clarissa and I, together with other 30 Adyeners, have joined The Hand Project EU and build bionic hands for people who can’t afford them in developing countries.  🦾



We’ve built them as a pair, with our dominant hand unavailable.
Do you know it’s impossible to screw something with one hand? You always need a second person to help out. 

Of course you know. We all know that. 
Try it next time. 
So you can see with your heart too.

Kids in Uganda and Kenia play in fields covered in land mines. Or they work with heavy machinery that’s dangerous. 
Often, the repercussions are devastating. 
Life altering to say the least.

Not only that, disabilities are taboo in many of their societies, resulting in isolation. 




The Hand Project EU donates prostethic arms so that people can get back their dignity. It’s a wonderful cause your organisation could contribute too.

You can buy workshops and assemble arms with your teams, and they use that money to manufacture more arms and give them away for free. 





It sure feels good to know the company you work for covers volunteering time for it’s employees, and our CSR team finds meaningful causes we can contribute to. 💚
