Honestly, it's a simple story: I've been wearing a hat every day of my life since I was in high school. I'm now a dad and still wear a hat every day of my life, and in that time I noticed a few things. Most hats are over priced and shit quality.

Most hats are expensive, offer no real sun or sweat protection, and they fall apart or look like hot garbage with sweat stains after a few months. I was forking out $60 at a time for a hat and it would just need to be replaced shortly after purchase. I would try washing them, but they came out of the machine misshaped or completely wrecked. 

Also, golf hats? Maybe you are into them, I'm not judging, but I HATED the fact that every single golf hat on the market is out to make me into a walking billboard for them. I'm not sponsored, so I don't need to dress like I am on tour. I'm out there having fun with my boys, drinking beers and slicing an entire sleeve into the woods.

We keep it simple: quality hats that don't scream "look at me," won't cost you an arm and a leg, and actually do what they're supposed to—protect you from the sun, keep you dry, and not fall apart when you use them.

Blueboard Inc.

From a sales standpoint, I made numerous strides for the company, including driving pipeline growth and expanding lead conversions. This entailed collaborating with multidiscipline teams, including RevOps to maximize sales and efficiency, while working across departments to increase the number of meetings booked with our account executives. I then rolled out a series of sales strategies that captured new business, generated quality leads, and nurtured previous business opportunities.

Throughout this time, I coached and mentored teams, including SDRs and outbound enterprise SDRs, to achieve higher performance. In addition, I improved employee engagement by introducing a rewards vertical and employee recognition.

• Opened $2.5M in pipeline opportunities (Q1) by building and leading an outbound SDR team; defined and executed sales strategies and tactics for my team.
• Boosted number of meetings booked from cold leads 30% by targeting prospects using tailored email campaigns, including a 21 Day Outreach Campaign.
• Grew SDR team from three to seven, enhancing team’s performance by switching to an account-based marketing approach.

I hit the ground running, scaling MRR and ARR in less than 12-months by rolling out new technologies in alignment with business objectives. Simultaneously, I drove continuous business growth, in collaboration with the marketing team, while streamlining operations within the sales division.

I introduced several changes, leading to lower churn and higher employee engagement, including implementing new SOPs across departments. I then centralized outbound sales by assisting in creating a new sales process and developing a high-performance team. I continued to motivate the sales team during call review sessions, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.

• Led four-member team of SDRs in achieving nearly $1M in ARR, while closing multiple record setting quarters.
• Transformed the sales division by outlining and translating key objectives into actionable goals in tandem with executive leadership, while personally crafting and incorporating new sales procedures.

I balanced competing priorities to drive revenues and exceed sales targets across the Western US, spanning four states and six markets. With a team of six direct reports and up to 15 indirect reports under my supervision, I increased performance across the board while fulfilling my personal operational performance goals and mentoring high achievers into leadership positions.
 
When it came to day-to-day operations, I unveiled strategic plans, adapting and realigning them to our dealer and regional partner needs. At the same time, I managed fleet (maintenance/availability), compliance, safety, and staffing needs, employing Siebel CRM and Tableau Reporting to further streamline operations.
 
• Facilitated an organizational restructure, including decreasing office spaces and selling-off assets, in conjunction with company headquarters and various departments, resulting in lowering $22M in asset costs.
• Created and implemented SOPs that structured vendor management operations, reducing vendor costs 40%.
• Hosted marketing events, successfully capturing new business opportunities, winning new customers, and closing sales with existing customers.

Regional Head of Operations

With accountability over the Southern California Region, I empowered a six-member team to prioritize the customer experience, therefore increasing their overall satisfaction. At the same time, I coordinated and oversaw fleet maintenance/availability, marketing events, and customer service.

• Rolled out the largest EV fleet in California (at the time), integrating 1500+ vehicles into our rideshare and delivery platforms.
• Positioned the fleet as a sustainable rideshare platform by embedding customer-oriented apps.

In a continuously evolving market, I met all KPIs while managing a fleet of 300+ vehicles and coordinating rideshare vehicle processes.

On behalf of a subsidiary of the Avis Budget Group, I made a splash in the Western region by creating a strategy that successfully matched preferred car types to specific markets in the region. While overseeing a three-member team, I managed operational activities, designed training products, and integrated new market concepts based on competitive marketing analysis.
 
• Integral in increasing sales revenue 50% by targeting executive management and technical audiences with strategic marketing campaigns.
• Slashed vendor costs 60% by negotiating discounted pricing for products and services.

I conducted research and analysis on business operations and workflows, and provided recommended changes for improvements and automation; developed and generated reports and models.
