 It's been a tremendous pleasure to dive back into the vibrant community of event planners, AV production partners, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones along the way. 

It was also awesome, but also humbling and inspiring to receive lots of enthusiasm and positive feedback following the movement talks at Connect West in San Francisco on "Flexing Success" and at Connect Faith in Washington, D.C., the later one led alongside David T. Stevens®, PMED, on  the topic of "Wellness Fusion Strategies for Events". 

It's clear that our collective dedication to advancing the event industry through #wellness and #fit4events strategies is resonating widely.

Adding to the excitement, I had the unique pleasure of spending my birthday amidst the buzz of Las Vegas, splitting the day between the vibrant city and the comforting embrace of Boise. 

The day was a perfect reflection of my journey - a blend of high energy and grounding moments. To give you a glimpse into the energy and spirit of the last three days, I've put together a reel capturing the highlights of our time in Vegas.

So glad you asked. David has been a become a big fan of a company called Street Parking and has been using their programing to not only stay active on the road, but also to defend his title of being the 6x fittest male EventProf. What he loves about them is it doesn't matter if you have equipment or not, they have a workout guaranteed to help you body and mind get better. There's no referral code, or shared revenue here, it's just him sharing what he does.  Every week for 25 weeks they have a signature workout. They call the overall program "The Vault" and it's designed to build consistency. #personalpost Over the past year, I've dedicated countless hours to deepening my understanding and expertise in AI, driven by a commitment to bring unparalleled value to every AI talk, workshop, and bootcamp I lead. 

Despite my two decades deep roots in AV production and technology, I've embraced the role of an underdog in the quest to master AI and its applications, especially within the event industry.

Here's where my short venting starts. 

It's disheartening to witness the all-too-common scenario at industry conferences, where speakership often goes not to the most knowledgeable, but to those who can afford to buy their way onto the stage. 

This practice not only undermines the essence of true expertise but also diverts valuable opportunities for genuine learning and engagement. 

Too frequently, I've attended sessions only to find the AI content outdated or lacking in actionable insights, leaving attendees, myself included, wanting more.

Yet, amidst this landscape, the feedback I've received tells a story of hope and the thirst for authentic knowledge:

What is Events: demystified Podcast known for?

#Eastertradition As we welcome another beautiful Easter, our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy. Growing up in a predominantly Orthodox country, 

Easter held a profound significance in my family, enveloping us in a week-long celebration of faith and nature's renewal. 

From the vibrant hues of naturally dyed eggs with clover leaves, to the elaborate cakes and dishes that graced our Sunday table, each tradition was a testament to the deep-rooted culture and meanings of this sacred time. 🌸

One of my fondest memories includes the unique tradition of boys walking from house to house "watering the flowers" on Resurrection Sunday, a charming celebration of spring and a symbolic gesture of respect and affection towards the women in their lives. 

These moments, steeped in the simplicity and depth of commemorating Jesus' death and resurrection, are treasures I hold dear.

Fast forward to today, and I'm embracing new traditions with my children, from exhilarating egg hunts and candy dropping from the sky, to the whimsical tales of the Easter bunny, while keeping the faith at the center of it all. 

While these experiences may differ from those of my childhood, they are equally filled with love, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness.

This Easter, from our family to yours, we wish you joy, peace, and the warmth of cherished traditions, old and new. May this season remind us all of the beauty of nature's renewal and the enduring power of faith, customs and family.

In our fast-paced world, it's easy to fall into the trap of constant consumption—be it material goods, information, or even experiences, yet true wealth and happiness don't just come from what we consume; they come from how we channel our resources.

Think about it: every resource at our disposal, whether it's time, money, or talent, holds potential energy. When we channel these resources towards creative endeavors, community building, or personal growth, we transform this potential into real, impactful outcomes.

Over the span of my 25 year career in media, then in events, event production and technology, I've done it all, and one thing that has always been constant: giving. Instead of merely consuming what's around me, I've made it my goal to strive to use resources to forge connections, nurture talents, and uplift others. 

And it's possible for all of us to do it, not just in pursuit of our own happiness, but for the sake of those who come after us. And how do we do that?

It’s about making choices that align not just with our immediate desires but also with our long-term goals and vision. This intentional approach to resource management doesn't just benefit us individually—it creates a ripple effect that can inspire and empower our communities. I am a firm believer in community over competition, even when it's easier to turn cynic and hard, especially those days when the sting of unfairness and lack hits close to home.  

My question to all of you #eventprofs, and #smallbusinessowners is, 

How can we channel our resources more effectively to not only enrich our own lives but also make a positive impact on the world around us? 

In my book, it's all about IMPACT. 
Some of it you might see now, some you might not, but it's there.
