As a child, I dreamed of creating games for a living. Though advised to pursue a "real" job, I earned a BA (Hon) in International Marketing with French & German from DCU and an MBA focused on change and knowledge management from the OUBS. I climbed the corporate ladder, but my passion for games and innovation never waned. In 2012, I founded Gamification Nation, turning my game-like mindset into my full-time career. We create award-winning games and gamified solutions for global clients, helping businesses engage their customers and employees in meaningful ways. I've worked with global brands in media, leisure, health, and finance, advising hundreds of business owners and inspiring thousands to level up their game—whether through leadership training, business coaching, or our gamification work. My mission is to create experiences people love, where everyone feels they matter and can play an equal game. In December 2022, we acquired a quiz marketing platform and rebranded it as Playerence. We're building it into the top gamified playful experience builder, aiming to make it the biggest B2B games platform. Since early 2024, I've immersed myself in AI, integrating it into our offerings. This led to our gamification and AI strategy playbooks which identify the potential of AI and gamification to drive business growth in your business. I also firmly believe that the future of work is human, augmented with innovative technology. Another of our software tools is MyDigitalOffice.io, which we are growing into a human-centric, gamified digital workplace where remote teams thrive. We've been a remote-first team since 2012, fostering a culture where dedicated professionals collaborate across distances, enriched by diverse cultures, languages, and experiences. As a coeliac who enjoys exploring new places and great gluten-free food, I value the diverse perspectives our team brings.
