With a career spanning several years, I bring a wealth of administrative expertise to the table, specializing in improving processes and increasing communication. I currently serve as an Administrative Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and I provide comprehensive support to the Computer Science Department including event planning, financial management, bookkeeping, hiring, and communicating with vendors. My previous role at Syngenta in the North America Health, Safety, and Environment Department allowed me to further develop my organizational and communication skills. I managed calendars, maintained SharePoint sites, and assisted with international travel arrangements, while also managing administrative tasks such as reconciliation of department finances and vendor coordination. As a former Assistant Customer Service Manager at The Fresh Market, I helped to create the company’s first customer service department including hiring the first workers, finding a CRM system that would work for the company, creating email templates and a Knowledge Base for employees to use, and managing the company’s online gift card program. My career began though as a High School English teacher honing my presentation and teamwork skills while work in challenging situations. After that, I realized I could learn to do almost anything. Bringing a proven record in administration, teamwork skills, and a “can-do” attitude, I’m ready to contribute to my next team’s success.
