It turns out, I have a type. I've spent the bulk of my career with specialty engineering and technology businesses of all sizes. working to help them deliver their unique stories and value differentiators directly into the hands of their clients. I've achieved success because I believe we can continuously improve our marketing efforts. My strategy often incorporates an inbound marketing methodology, which is where I spend a big portion of my day: writing and content development—including email marketing, client communication and newsletters, blog posts, industry articles, thought leadership, and lots of social media; website content development and CMS management. Lots of relationship building, lots of questions, lots of discussions. Mix in occasional advertising and PR, and top it off with corporate trade show management because why not. Along the way, I've also learned about corporate safety and health & wellness initiatives. Generally speaking, I'm great at linking together departments and disciplines (I'm not shy). After all, communication is the key to any good relationship. Software skills: Hubspot Marketing Automation, Salesforce, Constant Contact, Canva, Hootsuite, Kentico CMS, Ektron CMS, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office just to name a few. I'm not afraid to dive in and learn something new. Great overall computer skills.
