LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: Created YYoga’s first ever succession planning program for entry-level to general manager roles in centres. This resulted in more internal promotions from my team than any other and over 90% of my direct reports identifying high to very high levels of job satisfaction.

SYSTEMS AND OPERATIONAL DESIGN: Redesigned YYoga's teacher recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding procedures which included creating tools such as an online application form and back-end systems to streamline the entire administrative process. The updated system resulted in a reduction of operational steps by 40% and time spent on administration by an average of 2 hours per week. 

TRAINING AND INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN: Contributed to the design and implementation of onboard training for centre managers and supervisors. Participated in updating the internal continuing education program into online format with the result of reducing training time by 50%.

HR AND TEAM MANAGEMENT: Oversaw the complete employment cycle of centre teams, including recruitment, hiring, training, performance management, coaching and termination of entry-level to general manager roles. Having designed new positions within the company, was responsible for creating job descriptions, skills assessment, training materials, and formal review packages.

FINANCIAL: Participated in creating annual operating budgets for all BC YYoga locations; provided in-depth commentary on monthly variance reports and follow-up with teams to provide feedback and support in achieving financial goals. This contributed to an increase in NOI for centres of over 30% YoY.

Regional Operations Manager

•	Managed three YYoga locations, successfully hiring and developing the largest employee team in the company with consistently low turnover, high employee engagement, and over 90% of exiting staff identifying an interest in returning to their role in the future

•	Identified and nurtured many of the most noteworthy yoga teachers in Vancouver through active talent search and genuine relationship building

•	Created, implemented and maintained the first complete succession planning matrix for professional development and coaching program for centre staff using goal setting and personal responsibility, resulting in five internal promotions in four months

•	Generated net profits above budget by controlling both fixed and labour costs, and increasing revenue by adding guest visits and exceeding sales targets

•	Exceeded the promotional sales goals by 132% by increasing dollar per employee sales through team engagement

•	Participated on both a creative and operational level to open three new centres in four years
