I am obsessed with all things People, and I love solving problems through a people-focused lens. If the COVID-19 pandemic has taught me anything about the future of work, it's the importance of enabling people to play to their strengths when navigating change. I firmly believe that when leaders create an environment that enables people to show up as their authentic selves, they create psychological safety, enabling teams to accomplish the unthinkable. I am a data-driven decision maker, with a 'get-it-done' working style, and have a track record of success both at a strategic and operational level. I truly believe that any organization needs to be as obsessed about their employee journey as they are about the customer journey, and that people operations excellence is at the root of an exceptional employee experience. My career building and leading People teams combines 2 of my greatest passions: building high performance teams, and creating inclusive cultures. As a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), I work as a partner and coach to leadership. I am passionate about supporting high-growth start-ups and SMBs and do this by bringing a pragmatic approach and the ability to navigate tough decision-making in order to drive engagement, retention and growth. Having been featured in publications including: The Globe & Mail, Elle Magazine, Toronto Star, HDR Magazine, Benefits Canada and more, I believe in building community and giving back through sharing experience as an HR thought-leader and spokesperson.
