Initially hired to plan, implement and lead all fundraising efforts through foundations, corporate partners and generous individuals for this forward-thinking organization that links donors with >10,000 nonprofit organizations throughout Minnesota. Role expanded to include building out earned revenue strategy through the creation and leadership of RaiseMN, a capacity building program for nonprofits to educate them on strengthening their development efforts.

Planned and implemented Open Arms’ signature events including: Moveable Feast and the 24 Hour Cook-a-Thon in addition to all on site and third party events

Successfully raised $107,000 in the second year of Cook-a-Thon. Secured $16,000 in corporate sponsorships and $6,000 as in-kind food ingredients, while engaging numerous corporate teams to participate and raise significant contributions toward event goals

Led record-breaking gala event, increasing Moveable Feast revenue by nearly $50,000 while decreasing event costs and generating more than $300,000

Secured Open Arms’ participation in MyTalk107.1’s Project Down and Dirty event raising over $20,000 for Open Arms

Created new Group Kitchen Volunteer Experience for corporations and other large organizations to increase engagement

Events and Corporate Relations Manager

Tiger Oak Publications

Plan and execute events for Tiger Oak Publications entities - Bride, Meetings and Events, Business and Community Lifestyle magazines. 
Work with editorial department on events requiring nominations, nomination forms, nomination judges and committees, print presence and other editorial assistance.
Collaborate with production team to create and design promotional campaigns for each event.
Maximize sponsors involvement in each event through communication, on-site presence and all items included in sponsorship packages.

Event Marketing Manager

Walser Automotive Group

Plan and implement annual charitable efforts of the Walser Foundation to maximize brand exposure and establish community recognition.
Manage the Walser Foundation yearly giving budget. 
Independently oversee grant giving process, review completed grant applications and present recommendations to the Walser Foundation Board of Directors.
Responsible for all marketing and branding of the Walser Foundation. Created first social media strategy for the Walser brand at www.facebook.com/walserautomotivegroup and on Twitter @WalserAutoGroup.
Partner with non profit organizations that receive grants from the Walser Foundation and leverage marketing efforts to better serve the community and the brand needs of Walser.
Responsible for scheduling and managing over 200 Walser Automotive Group volunteers annually.
Provide event planning and on-site execution at numerous non profit and marketing events. 
Establish strategic marketing partnerships with local and nationally recognized brands.
Responsible for all follow up communications internally with Walser Automotive Group employees to improve employee engagement and community reinvestment.
