Andrea is a British-American interdisciplinary artist working abstractly across several mediums. Her works incorporate found objects, steel, wood, scrap and forged metal and metal foundry. 

Combining welding and other modern fabrication methods, she integrates found objects and raw materials to create tactile and vivid compositions. Andrea’s work has been shown at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and in galleries in the USA and Europe.

Before returning to her passion of making art, Andrea worked as a designer and creative director in the tech industry for two decades.

She holds a BFA in Sculpture from the College of Visual Arts (St. Paul, MN), a post graduate in Design Thinking and Innovation from MIT, Tuck and Columbia Universities (via Emeritus) and a number of certificates from IDEO and Sotheby’s Institute of Art.

As Creative Director and Design Lead, I was involved in creation, development, and implementation of customer-first and compelling cross-platform design solutions that drive TIP's global visibility, while understanding the telecom community and partner needs. I was involved in all aspects of TIP's websites, TIP Summit, in-person and virtual events and Marketing.

I enjoy imagining what could be, creating future-forward and thoughtful design solutions that solve current business opportunities, aligning TIP's mission, brand aesthetics and overall visual design to the company's web, digital and event presence. 

I helped distill broad ideas into creative solutions and points of interest for TIP members and the telecom tech community. Including creating design standards, best practices and implementation guidelines for vendors and regional teams.  I supported cross-functional PM groups, Regional leads, Engagement, Foundation, Event and Marketing teams. 

As part of this role, I lead the creative vision for TIP's yearly global conference, TIP Summit, the industry leading event for Telecom Tech Innovators.
